02/06/09 - 04/06/09  Trip to Northern Ireland Land Rover Experience Scotland Instructors headed to Northern Ireland at the beginning of June with a fleet of 5 Land Rover vehicles in order to give Land Rover guests there the opportunity to test the vehicles off road.

The vehicles (Range Rover, Range Rover Sport,  Discovery 3, Freelander 2 and Defender) were put through their paces at the world famous Desertmartin Motocross course in County Londonderry.  This challenging course was tackled by guests from Land Rover dealers Charles Hurst, Donnelly Bros and TP Topping.

28/05/09  Land Rover / Futronics launch the new '4x4 Police vehicle of the future'. Land Rover and mobile data technology (MDT) specialists Futronics, and partners Sepura, hosted the launch of the new Police-Spec Range Rover Sport at Land Rover Experience Scotland on 28th May 2009.  This partnership has combined the most accomplished on/off road ability of the high-performance Range Rover Sport, with the cutting edge MDT solutions that Futronics have implemented, to create 'The 4x4 Police vehicle of the future'. The Scottish launch was attended by representatives from the Lothian & Borders, Tayside, Grampian and Central Scotland Police forces, as well as the Scottish Police College.

As well as attending demonstrations on the new Police vehicles, guests had the opportunity to drive the latest Land Rover Freelander 2, Discovery 3 and Range Rover Sport vehicles on, as well as off road.  >> "Just a quick note to say thanks again on behalf of Futronics.  It was a brilliant day out and you and your staff couldn't have been more pleasant and professional. . . . . we were thrilled with the day and the results." 05/11/2008  Visit by members of the Scottish Rugby Squad Pictured are members of the team at Land Rover Experience Scotland together with some of the Scottish Rugby Squad who spent an afternoon here at the beginning of November.   We were pleased to welcome Ali Hogg, Kelly Brown, Geoff Cross and Alastair Donaldson along with two prizewinners from a competion held earlier in the year by the SRU.  They enjoyed an afternoon of offroad driving and driving games.
